Anh Ngo

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr. Anh Ngo is a postdoctoral research associate at the Health Policy Center, the Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Dr. Ngo’s research focuses on examining the effects of tobacco control policies on tobacco use (i.e. smoking prevalence and cigarette consumption) in a global context. She also broadens her research to examine e-cigarette use among youth and young adults, and alcohol excise taxes (i.e. the pass-through of alcohol excise taxes to alcohol prices).

Dr. Ngo earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics and business administration from Coe College in 2013, and her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018.
